Meet Wendy, owner of Westgate Pet Sitting and proud pet parent
“I grew up at the Jersey shore in Monmouth County, enjoying the beaches from Sandy Hook to Point Pleasant. My family always had animals in the home, including dogs, cats, hamsters, and parakeets. My first favorite book was about rescuing wild baby animals and my passion for animals grew from there.
As a young girl, I went around town and collected donations for the Humane Society. I started volunteering at MCSPCA as a teen and then worked in a variety of pet-related jobs including vet assistant and dog trainer before starting my own pet sitting business.
