I also worked in the fitness industry for many years because health and fitness are my next loves after animal welfare. I sometimes incorporate my fitness knowledge to advise my clients who ask for assistance with their pets who may be a little too...fluffy.
I moved to Somerset County in 2009 to purchase a home with more property for my dogs. I am a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) and Pet Sitters International. I am FEMA ICS-certified and pet CPR-certified. I also have experience as a vet assistant and a dog trainer, and I currently volunteer for St Hubert's Animal Welfare Center, Capic, and Harness Life.
My own personal pack includes a 15-year-old chihuahua, Toby, who I inherited from my mom; a 5-year-old terrier/hound mix, Clyde, who helps everyone remember how to enjoy life; a 5-year-old Mastiff mix, Maya, who was a South Korean meat market dog and had to learn how to be a dog; and last but not least- Zuzu Petals, my three-legged kitty.”
